Blogging requires you to produce a lot of content on a regular basis.
If you do not have a ghostwriter writing your blog content, then it means you will need to spend a lot of time writing blog posts. This is one of the harsh realities of blogging.
(Private Label Rights) PLR articles and e-books are very popular these days, and they can help you to unleash the power of your blogging.
So, what are private label articles and how are they going to benefit me?
Private label articles are special type of ‘right’ or license which you purchase where you are legally allowed to edit and publish the article as your own. You may even include your own name as the author and your own resource box at the end of each article.
This article outlines how you can use PLR content to make your blogging quick and easy
ONE: Buy PLR articles or e-books and customize them into blog posts.
All you have to do is to look for PLR content that relates to your niche, break that content into smaller pieces and then, (most importantly) customize it – re-write it in your own voice – to make it unique. Remember that for search engines to index your blog and drive traffic to your blog, you need to have unique information. After you have customized this content, put it into blog posts. This process will make it easy and quick for you to generate content for your website.
Private label articles really can save you time. It can take you a long time to write a decent article. If you wanted to create a content site of only 50 pages it would take you over 100 hours to just write the content. With PLR articles you get access to content instantly. Take that content as inspiration for your next blog post. DO NOT copy and paste it ad-nauseum.
You absolutely must edit PLR articles. When you use private label articles you have the ability to edit the articles and seed it with your own keywords. This is extremely powerful if you want to achieve high rankings in the search engines.
TWO: Buy PLR articles and e-books, customize them into your own e-books and make them available on your blog for free.
Giving away e-books will make your blog very informative and helpful, which may make your visitors want to bookmark your blog and visit it on a regular basis. Certainly, turning PLR into a well written, informative, educational e-book that your readers need to provide an email address to access, will help you to “build your list”. (If you don’t know what that means, you’re going to need to read this post).
By using PLR content and customizing it into your own e-books, you make it easier for yourself to capture prospects to join your email list.
Writing e-books from scratch can cost you a lot of money or take a lot of time. PLR articles and e-books make it easy for you create your own products that you can use on your blog for your visitors to sign up to your email list!
THREE: To attract traffic to your blog, you can compile PLR content into special reports to give away on Social Media or forums, made into Video or Slideshare.
Make them unique and give them away to others. Use them in Facebook ads, in your forum signatures.
Use them to entice a new subscriber to give you their email address in return for a well written report (that contains links to your website and to the articles that promote your money making products (e.g.: affiliate links).
Create a Udemy.com training created with your re-written PLR.
Try sharing an article on Slideshare or Flipboard as a training package.
Use Storify, Delicious, Scoop.it, Clipzine, Bundlr, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter (to name a few) to promote your training package.
Or you could give them away to your email subscribers as a thank you.
In these reports, you can add links to your blog or to affiliate products you may be selling or to your own products. This can be very powerful because on your blog you will be selling more of your own products or affiliate products.
PLR content can be converted into audio (Podcasts!) or video formats (Youtube and Vimeo!), or even incorporated into your blog’s email auto-responder series.
Using this approach can help you get visitors back to your website or to your sales page or affiliate links on a regular basis.

FOUR: No outbound links
With private label articles you have no outbound links that you are obligated to include at the end of each published article. No advertising and no distractions for your readers. In other words, the only links that are included in PLR articles are the ones that you have added (i.e. your websites or affiliates which make you money).
FIVE: PLR articles save you money
You can get 200 private label articles for anywhere from only 29.97 (that is less than 15 cents a piece) to even less. Now if that seems a bit expensive to you, then there are many Fiverr.com gigs that will sell you a massive library of PLR articles for only $5.00, to help you populate your blog when you’re out of ideas.
But you must be very careful to edit the PLR thoroughly. Don’t just copy and paste it verbatim. This type of PLR is so cheap because it has been around the Internet for a while, and some if not much of it has been used over and over. You don’t want to disappoint Google by rehashing the same content that’s already been overused.
On Problogger, they recommend that, instead of rewriting each individual PLR article you purchase, you can also use them as a jumping off point to create your own content. This is how I like to use PLR. To supplement my own original content. Or to give me ideas for my next post or to give me a jumping off point to help structure my posting schedule.
Interestingly, a commentor on that same page said:
“One author who creates PLR likens it to having a graphic designer do your web design.
If you’re writing a blog that is solely focused on you and your writing abilities, then I could
see how it seems dishonest. But if the aim of your blog is to sell air conditioners and you’re
really good at selling them in person, but not good at writing about them, why not hire
somebody or purchase something to help you out?”
Typically, good PLR authors write content based around profitable niche keywords and information that people in the niche are actively seeking. You can use their insights and PLR content as research sources, and then write your own blog posts based on the information they provide. PLR gives us bloggers great titles for our next posts, and ideas a-plenty.
SIX: Many PLR articles are written by professionals
If you’re not keen on completely rewriting every PLR article you buy (and I hope you are), then look for the private label articles that are written by professionals and compiled with the latest research and information by writers who do this for a living. Look for PLR that will only be distributed to a small number of users e.g.: 25 – 50 copies only will be sold. When you use and purchase private label articles from the right supplier you can be assured you are buying quality.
These six tips can help you use PLR content to increase the power of your blogging. PLR content that you can quickly customize means that you can generate content for your blog very quickly. PLR is just another tool – it’s all in how you use it that matters.
The more unique and fresh content you have on your blog, the more traffic you drive to your blog.
